In this task you had to add up all the numbers so that it adds up to 15. It was quite challenging and fun to do.
I am a Year 8 student at Glen Innes School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 7 and my teacher is Mrs Tuakoi.

Feeding Billy The Bug
WALT: Match the co-ordinates on the graph.
This game was all about feeding Billy Bug, but to feed him you’ll have to know your co-ordinates. This game was easy because I knew my co-ordinates very well. The horizontal line is the x axis and the vertical is the y axis.

A Book Report About The Titanic
Titanic
Disaster at sea
This is a book that is based on a true story. The Titanic hit into an iceberg at 11:40 p.m. on the night of April 14, 1912 and sank two and a half hours later. 706 died and 1517 survived.
It took nearly 3 years to build the Titanic, beginning of March 31, 1909 in Belfast. Northern Ireland.
When it was completely built it was the biggest movable object ever made. It was 882 1/2 feet long, 92 1/2 feet wide, 175 feet high, and displaced 66,000 tons of water.
I enjoyed this story so much because it has a lot of facts. It had historical facts.

In this game I needed to know the order/size and my equivalent fractions. I tried 5 and got 3 right. This game was challenging for a while, because I don’t know my fractions very well. Next I would really want to learn more about fractions.

The Legend Of Dick And Dom
WALT: Comparing Fractions
It was challenging when we had to find out the equivalent fraction and it was easy when we had to choose what plank to go on. We had to choose the bigger fraction that was on the plank than the one that I was on. I got some questions wrong and some right. In this game you have to know your fractions. In this game I learned more about fractions. Next I would want to know more about Geometry.

Jump Rope
Jump Rope
Today we went down to the G.I center to Jump Rope for the Heart Foundation. It was cool fun. We left school at about 11:00 and got back at 12:30. Our transport was walking.
All the skipping items were exciting. Every class item was awesome but I liked Room 11's item the best. It was so interesting and I liked it because it had some funny, dry and they did boring tricks and styles. It was all mixed up, but was still cool.
Room 12's item was quite cool but tiring. Our item was split up into 3 groups and we did our own item with our own ideas. It was cool because we did something different to the other performances.
Today everything was awesome, exciting and boring. I hope we have a better routine next jump rope.
