Car Park

This math game is Challenging and it will help a lot. On my first attempt I completed this in 8 moves so I tried again and completed with the minimum amount of moves 6. I was proud of myself because I don't really like playing games like this. I recommend that this will be a nice and thoughtful game to play. If you would like to play this game click here

Sports Camp

Sports Camp 2015

This years sports camp will be very interesting and challenging because I think that there will be a lot of challenging schools to compete against. The sports I think we are going to win are:
  • Volleyball
  • Wallball
  • Soccer
  • Rugby
  • Softball
  • Basketball
  • Hockey
  • Indoor soccer
  • Caged soccer
  • Triathlon
  • Swimming
  • Table Tennis
  • Netball
  • Petanque
  • Athletics
  • Cross Country
  • Darts and Chess

I really think that we will win all of these codes cause all of the hard work we been putting into all of our trainings. Our team is pretty good and I have faith that we are going to win most of the codes. The codes i'm going to take part in are: Volleyball, Soccer, Rugby, Basketball, Softball, Athletics, Swimming, Chess, Darts, Triathlon and Cross Country.

Converting improper fractions to mixed fraction

This week in maths, group four has been learning to convert improper fractions to mixed fractions.
I already knew it but I just needed to revise on my converting. As we went through the worksheet it got easier and I understood that converting is really easy. e.g : 3 and 3/10 = 33/10 which is an improper fraction.

Using our senses to make a story

25worldwar11006.jpg

This week room 12 has been writing about this picture. First we used our senses to see how it will feel being in a trench. We described what we could hear, smell, see and feel. Once we had all our describing words we picked 3 strong words and had to make 3 sentences. After that we had to use our 3 strong sentences to make a paragraph and from a paragraph we were able to write a story.

Here's an excerpt from my writing: The scared soldiers wore their protection and stood behind the sandbags with their survival kit in case they got shot.......

In this task you had to add up all the numbers so that it adds up to 15. It was quite challenging and fun to do.

Feeding Billy The Bug

WALT: Match the co-ordinates on the graph.

This game was all about feeding Billy Bug, but to feed him you’ll have to know your co-ordinates. This game was easy because I knew my co-ordinates very well. The horizontal line is the x axis and the vertical is the y axis.

A Book Report About The Titanic

Titanic
Disaster at sea

Titanic.png

This is a book that is based on a true story. The Titanic hit into an iceberg at 11:40 p.m. on the night of April 14, 1912 and sank two and a half hours later. 706 died and 1517 survived.

It took nearly 3 years to build the Titanic, beginning of March 31, 1909 in Belfast. Northern Ireland.

When it was completely built it was the biggest movable object ever made. It was 882 1/2 feet long, 92 1/2 feet wide, 175 feet high, and displaced 66,000 tons of water.

I enjoyed this story so much because it has a lot of facts. It had historical facts.
